  • Mondays, 1 & 22 June 2026 in Utrecht or Doorn

The training has the following structure:

Legal framework & fundamentals

  • Overview of the Works Councils Act and core rights;

  • How the legal framework guides everyday works council practice.

Role & positioning in the organisation

  • Understanding responsibilities and expectations linked to the role;

  • Exploring the knowledge and skills needed for effective participation.

Consultation dynamics & communication

  • Preparing for and navigating consultations with the director;

  • Techniques for constructive dialogue and clear communication.

Working agreements & internal collaboration

  • Structuring the work of the works council;

  • Establishing effective working agreements and teamwork.

Applying insights to your own works council

  • Setting priorities for your works council;

  • Translating insights into concrete next steps.
